PARACAT TRAINING COURSE
“Lyondell-Basell: from the first Ziegler Natta Catalyst to Polymer Circularity”

22-26 February 2021

As part of the training programme of the Paracat project (www.paracat.eu) LyondellBasell – as leader in PP catalyst development with a strong market position in catalysts, polyolefins and polymerization technologies – will deliver a series of webinars focusing on its product chain, from Fundamental Research to finished products with dedicated sessions to Polymer circularity, Structure Property Relationships and Intellectual Properties. Thanks to its heritage and its long history of innovation on developing new catalysts, new products and new technologies, LYB webinars will give participants the opportunity to know how theory is applied at industrial level.

Machine Learning Meets Chemistry , Department of Chemistry, University of Torino, 17-18 February 2020

Machine Learning (ML) enables computers to address problems by learning from data. Over the last years, its abilities have increasingly been applied to a wide variety of chemical challenges, from improving computational chemistry to drug and materials design and even synthesis planning. “ML meets chemistry” is a one-day event with the purpose of introducing this fast growing reality to students, researchers and professors of the department of chemistry of the university of Turin. In order to do so, we invited several experts to talk about ML applied to chemical problems through informative and basic level lectures. The event belongs to the PhD Programme in Chemical and Materials Sciences of the Doctoral School of the University of Torino.

Crystallography School 2020 - TURIN, 8-12 June 2020
