Course objectives
Bioinspired synthetic molecules, photo-controlled compounds and functionals probes are increasingly gaining importance in life science investigations, opening new possibilities in biomedical applications with significant impact on eminent clinical potentialities.
From the synthesis of aspirin to the synthetic xenobiology, the precise light guided spatiotemporal control of functional activity, and real-time fluorescence image-guided surgery, synthetic organic molecules have played a crucial role in many scientific achievements.
The course will cover an historical overview and a critical analysis of last achievements in the field of the bioinspired synthetic molecules, photoregulation of biological systems and pharmaceutical compounds along with the description of functional probes for application in biological relevant processes, pre-clinical and clinical bioimaging, as well as, in the synthetic development of photopharmacological and diagnostics tools.- Oggetto:
