With over 10 thousand years of experience, chemists, cosmetologists, fashion
designers, leaders and governments had incredible impact over the world of cosmetics,
because human nature always strive to perfection and new ways to express itself.
Cosmetic really played a big role in our advancements from ancient civilization to the
modern way of life. Thus, Cosmetic products play an essential role in everyone’s life.
Every day, 450 million Europeans use soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant,
toothpaste, shaving cream, aftershave, cleanser, perfume, make-up and a host of other
products. Cosmetic products can help enhance well-being and improve personal selfesteem.
The cosmetics industry is continuously innovating and improving products for
consumer. Thanks to industry’s commitment to the safety and well-being of their
customers, European citizens have access to safe effective cosmetics that they can
trust. European Union legislation requires all new products, before they are launched in
to the market, to undergo an expert scientific safety assessment.
