Course objectives
This course is intended to provide an overview on exhaust after-treatment systems with a special focus on automotive applications.
Didactical objectives are:
- to understand the design of the automotive catalytic reactors: structure, materials and physical/chemical properties
- to identify the main mechanisms of catalyst ageing processes and the most important analytical investigation techniques
