PhD in Chemical and Materials Sciences

In recent years, the PhD in Italy has seen a great growth due to the NRRP ( National Recovery and Resilience Plan)  and the creation of National Doctorates. This has favoured interaction between universities and industry for the development of collaborative research projects, but it has also raised questions about the opportunities and perspectives of PhDs.

During the PhD Days there will be a round table (in Italian) to discuss the role of PhD students and PhD in industry.

The round table will be held on February 19th, 2024 at the Department of Chemistry - Aula Magna (Via P. Giuria 7).

The aim is to stimulate the exchange of experience between companies and academia on the figure of the PhD.

What is the role of PhD students in industry? What contribution of knowledge and innovation
can PhD bring?
